Hi, I am Meh! I am a registered guidance counselor (top 9 in the board exam) and I just completed my degree Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University. 

I have been a counselor for more than ten years now. I cater to various populations, ages, needs, and concerns. I have handled clients (mostly children, adolescents, and adults) with depression, anxiety, suicidality, and other clinical diagnosis. I can do cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, solution-focused and brief psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy but I am mostly a Rogerian counselor. This means that I value empathy and genuineness in conducting sessions with clients. I also believe in the clients' capacity for self-determination, to help themselves in the healing process and I respect the clients' agency. 

Currently, I am doing volunteer work as a counselor/ intern alumna at the In Touch Community Services, Loyola Schools Gender Hub of Ateneo de Manila University and Ateneo Bulatao Center- Brief Psychological Services. I am also employed as a professor and counselor in a state university in Manila. 

My advocacy is to provide accessible mental health services. I also serve as a speaker on mental health, parenting, bullying, gender and development, qualitative research and many more to teachers, parents, social workers, and students.
